Ants (1998)

Plot: Z-4195 is just a neurotic worker ant who feels utterly insignificant in his tightly controlled, trillion-member colony. Desperate to break free from his mundane routine and win the heart of the beautiful Princess Bala, he convinces his soldier best friend to switch places with him for a day. What starts as an innocent plan to march in a parade quickly spirals out of control when Z unexpectedly finds himself fighting a ruthless termite army. Thrust into the spotlight as an accidental war hero, Z inadvertently uncovers a sinister military plot by the ruthless General Mandible to wipe out the worker population. Now on the run with a captive princess, Z must lead a revolution to find the mythical paradise of Insectopia and return to save his entire colony from total annihilation.
