Beetlejuice (1988)

Plot: After a sweet-natured couple perishes in a sudden car accident, they find themselves trapped as ghosts in their beloved New England farmhouse. When an insufferable, trendy New York family moves in and completely redesigns the home, the spirits try desperately to scare them away—to no avail. Desperate for a solution, they inadvertently enlist the services of Beetlejuice, a malicious and hyperactive "bio-exorcist" whose chaotic, reality-bending antics quickly spiral completely out of control, placing the living and the dead in hilarious jeopardy.
