Black Hawk Down (2001)

Plot: When an elite force of American Rangers and Delta Force soldiers drops into the war-torn city of Mogadishu, Somalia to capture top lieutenants of a renegade warlord, two of their Black Hawk helicopters are shot down. What was supposed to be an hour-long operation quickly spirals into a desperate, 15-hour battle for survival as the outnumbered soldiers fight their way through waves of heavily armed hostile militia.
