Clerks (1994)

Plot: Dante Hicks is called in to cover a shift at his New Jersey convenience store on his absolute day off. Forced to endure a relentless parade of eccentric customers, he passes the grueling hours with his cynical friend Randal Graves, who completely neglects his own video rental shop next door. Over the course of one wildly unpredictable day, the duo plays hockey on the roof, disrupts a funeral, and navigates highly chaotic love lives, proving that anything can happen when the bosses are away.
