Crank / Crank 2: High Voltage (2006 / 2009)

Plot: Strap in for the ultimate, non-stop adrenaline rush with two cult-classic action masterpieces. First, in Crank, hitman Chev Chelios wakes up to find he has been injected with a lethal synthetic toxin that will stop his heart if his heart rate drops. Racing against time, he must commit acts of pure public chaos, pick fights, and break every rule imaginable to keep his adrenaline pumping while hunting down his killers. Then, the madness escalates to an electric new level in Crank 2: High Voltage when Chev is revived, only to find his nearly indestructible organic heart has been stolen and replaced with a battery-powered artificial pump. To survive his relentless quest across Los Angeles to reclaim his prize ticker, he must constantly track down high-voltage electrical sources to jumpstart his chest and power his hyper-violent revenge.
