Death Race (2008)

Plot: In a dystopian future, terminal convicts compete in the ultimate televised arena: a brutal, heavily armed car race where the prize is freedom and the penalty is a grisly death. Framed for a murder he didn't commit, former racing champion Jensen Ames is forced by a ruthless warden to don the mask of the legendary driver Frankenstein. Tricking out a monstrous V8 engine with machine guns and armor plating, he must survive three days of metal-crushing vehicular warfare against the world's most dangerous psychopaths.
