Falling Down (1993)

Plot: An ordinary divorced man, frustrated by the bureaucratic gridlock, economic instability, and urban decay of Los Angeles, snaps while stuck in traffic on a scorching summer day. Armed with an evolving arsenal of weapons he acquires along the way, he targets anyone who stands in his path or offends his rigid sense of societal fairness, unaware that a veteran police detective on his final day before retirement is methodically tracking his path of destruction.
