Hocus Pocus (1993)

Plot: After moving to Salem, Massachusetts, skeptical teenager Max Dennison accidentally breaks the ultimate local superstition by lighting the infamous Black Flame Candle. This careless act inadvertently resurrects the Sanderson Sisters—three diabolical, soul-stealing 17th-century witches who were executed three hundred years prior. Now back and hungering for immortality, the wildly eccentric trio has only one night to consume the life forces of Salem’s children before dawn breaks, or else they will vanish forever. Armed with a magical talking cat, his little sister Dani, and his classmate Allison, Max must race through the chaotic, trick-or-treat-filled town to outwit the spell-binding witches, secure their precious book of spells, and stop their sinister plan before Salem is cursed forever.
