Joy Ride (2001)

Plot: College student Lewis Thomas embarks on a cross-country road trip to pick up his childhood crush, Venna. Along the way, he stops to bail out his reckless older brother, Fuller. To pass the time, Fuller convinces Lewis to play a cruel prank over their CB radio on a lonely, mysterious trucker known only by his handle, "Rusty Nail." What starts as a harmless joke quickly turns into a living nightmare when the unseen driver turns out to be a sadistic, unstoppable psychopath. Driven by a thirst for vengeance, Rusty Nail begins a lethal cat-and-mouse chase across the desolate American highways, stalking the siblings and forcing them to pay a horrifying price for their trickery.
