National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)

Plot: As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold vows to give his family the perfect, traditional old-fashioned Christmas. He covers the house exterior in 25,000 twinkle lights, tracks down the ultimate oversized tree, and prepares for a houseful of dysfunctional relatives. However, Clark's grand seasonal plans quickly unravel into pure, hilarious chaos when his uninvited cousin Eddie arrives in a camper, the eccentric grandparents clash, and a long-awaited holiday bonus fails to materialize.
