On Edge (2001)

Plot: Step inside the fiercely competitive, glitter-soaked, and absolutely cutthroat world of regional amateur figure skating. This hilarious mockumentary follows three eccentric and wildly mismatched rivals pushing their limits to reach skating fame: Veda, a high-strung, frosty diva; Wendy, an upbeat, plus-sized skater determined to defy the odds; and J.C., a smoking, rebellious delinquent with a chip on her shoulder. Narrated with weary humor by a veteran Zamboni driver who has seen it all, the skaters scheme, toil, and fight their way to a sequined showdown where the only thing sharper than their blades is their ruthless ambition.
