Outland (1981)

Plot: On a remote titanium mining colony located on Jupiter's volatile moon, Io, federal marshal William O'Niel uncovers a deadly conspiracy. The corporate mine manager has been secretly distributing a powerful work-enhancing drug to boost production—a stimulant that keeps miners productive until they brutally snap and go berserk. When O'Niel threatens to blow the whistle, he finds himself abandoned by the terrified miners, standing completely isolated against a team of professional hitmen dispatched to eliminate him.
