RoboCop (2014)

Plot: In 2028, multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of military robot technology, but their controversial drones remain banned for domestic law enforcement. When Alex Murphy, a loving husband, father, and dedicated Detroit police officer, is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp seizes a golden opportunity to build a part-man, part-robot police officer to sway public opinion. Envisioning a cybernetic officer in every city to maximize corporate profits, they program an unstoppable crime-fighting machine—but they never accounted for the human mind and soul still fighting deep inside the machine.
