Scent of a Woman (1992)

Plot: Charlie Simms, a working-class student at an elite New England prep school, takes a Thanksgiving weekend job to babysit a blind, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel named Frank Slade. Expecting a quiet weekend, Charlie is instead whisked away to New York City by the abrasive, cynical, and larger-than-life colonel, who has planned a luxurious last hurrah filled with fine dining, high-speed Ferrari driving, and tango dancing with beautiful women. As the weekend unfolds, Charlie uncovers a profound sadness within Frank's brilliant mind, resulting in an unforgettable bond where the two must save each other from their respective moral and emotional crossroads.
