Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

Plot: Eleven years after the original Terminator failed to kill Sarah Connor, a second, more advanced lethal machine—the liquid-metal T-1000—is dispatched back through time to assassinate her young son, John, the future leader of the human resistance. However, a reprogrammed, older T-800 model is also sent back, this time programmed to protect John at all costs. Together with Sarah, who has been hardened into a fierce warrior, they launch a high-stakes, explosive battle across California to defeat the seemingly unstoppable assassin and change the future of humanity before the catastrophic Judgment Day strikes.
