Plot: Disgraced investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist is hired by a wealthy industrialist to solve the forty-year-old disappearance of his beloved niece from their secluded island estate. Unbeknownst to Blomkvist, his own background has been thoroughly probed by Lisbeth Salander, a fiercely independent, anti-social, and brilliant punk hacker.
