The Mighty Ducks (1992)

Plot: Gordon Bombay, a hotshot defense attorney driven by an obsession with winning, gets pulled over for drunk driving and is sentenced to community service coaching a ragtag youth hockey team. The "District 5" team is a laughingstock—they can't skate, they don't have equipment, and they haven't scored a single goal all season. Confronted with his own painful childhood hockey memories and a fierce rivalry with his old coach, Bombay must find a way to teach these misfit kids how to play as a team. Rechristened "The Mighty Ducks," the underdogs rally behind their new mentor to pull off an unforgettable ice-rink redemption.
