The New Guy (2002)

Plot: Dizzy Harrison is an unpopular, dorky high school senior who routinely endures humiliation. Desperate for a fresh start, he purposely gets himself expelled, spends a brief stint in prison learning how to look "cool" from his cellmate Luther, and enrolls at a rival high school under the alias "Gil Harris." Armed with his new bad-boy persona, Gil quickly climbs the social ladder, wins over the student body, and captures the heart of the most popular girl in school—all while desperately trying to keep his pathetic past a secret.
