The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

Plot: A bright and talented but marginally employed salesman, Chris Gardner, finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. When Gardner lands an unpaid but prestigious internship at a top stock brokerage firm, the suddenly single father and his son must endure homelessness and a variety of severe hardships in a relentless pursuit of a better life.
