Tideland (2005)

Plot: Following the sudden overdose of her mother, young Jeliza-Rose is taken by her rock-musician, junkie father to an isolated, decaying farmhouse in the countryside. When he passes away shortly after their arrival, the completely abandoned girl retreats deep into the vast, unsettling playground of her own surreal imagination. Communing with four disembodied Barbie doll heads and befriending an eccentric, taxidermy-obsessed neighbour and her child-like brother, she navigates a dark, dreamlike world where the line between childhood innocence and grim reality completely dissolves.
