Training Day (2001)

Plot: On his first day on the job as a Los Angeles narcotics officer, idealistic rookie Jake Hoyt is partnered with the highly decorated but rogue veteran detective Alonzo Harris. As they spend 24 hours patrolling the gritty streets of the city's inner-city neighborhoods, Alonzo's unorthodox and increasingly corrupt methods blur the lines between law enforcement and criminal behavior. Jake is forced to confront deep moral dilemmas and fight for his own survival when he realizes he is being set up as a pawn in a deadly game.•
