Plot: In Detroit, a pop-culture-obsessed comic book nerd marries a sweet-hearted call girl. Hoping to make a clean break from her past, he attempts to retrieve her belongings from her erratic pimp—only to inadvertently steal a suitcase filled with millions of dollars in uncut mafia cocaine. Propelled into a dangerous cross-country flight to Los Angeles, the eccentric young lovers find themselves pursued by ruthless mob hitmen, police detectives, and ambitious drug dealers as they try to sell the contraband and finance a new life together.
